Still, he cannot fault Astarion for his need for blood to survive or Xenk's lack of need for food. He's not about to change how he feels about his friends due to some very mild discomfort over something that was out of their control. This is just how they were, however that was. It was just another part of another world that didn't translate purely over to his own.

Honestly, it was just easier to not think of them as undead at all but as Astarion and Xenk without worrying about the details.
